So beautifully captured and so so very sad. She was an actual person wanting to be loved and a woman wanting to have a baby underneath

Oh my word I love your writing. Don’t need to watch the movie it’s all right here. And ps what a cool life you’ve had. And pps I’ve just fallen down an absolute fan girl wormhole about you too - had not heard of the Menopause Mandate previously - fantastic stuff

What a wonderful story Jo, it made me laugh and feel sad at the same time. She had such a cheeky spirit on top of the sadness and vulnerability, and the hugest of talent. I saw the film last week after much anticipation but was completely bowled over, they told her story well. I'd be interested to hear what you think after you've seen it. Thanks once again for sharing!

Oh Jo such a beautiful memory, you shared with us!

Amy was definitely someone who impacted many lives, specially mine. Thanks for being so kind to her and to us and giving us this little piece of love in a text form! 🫀

If only everybody had been as kind as you and the nurse were, suspect you made her day as much as she made yours! And such a lovely way to remember her, thanks for this ❤️

It's so sad to read that she was lonely whilst in the hospital, it sounds like you really made her day

Fabulous story. I watched the film last week & your tale of her, made me love her even more, I think I need to bring back my beehive. From one Amy fan, this was a Friday treat to read 💗
