I remember that first global issue of Glamour! One of the things I loved about it was the peak into each different edition’s editorial staff and trends. I used to love picking up international editions of my favorite magazines at airports so I could see a different perspective on the same type of content and get an extra dose for my favorite magazine brand. It’s a shame to lose that, especially when print versions of magazines are already getting thinner or non-existent.
Thank you for your comments, Cindy! Yes it is a shame, but we must not forget that if people still bought lots of magazines, there would be no revenue problems and no one would be forcing these kind of cost-cutting measures. :-/
