Very true Jo! A brilliant coach once said to me that being the boss is like being on a stage, everything you do is magnified, who you talk to, what you say, how you say it.. I suppose it comes with the territory but sometimes it can be hard being the real person underneath... and Marianne is not the only midlife female editor I know who had heart problems from pandemic stress. It's really important to ask yourself how you are and actually listen to the answers (admittedly something I only learnt to do after stopping being a big boss..) xxx Eleanor
