Good morning. I too look forward to reading your piece on friendship. I recently listened to a discussion on CBC about friendship; specifically, ending friendships that no longer serve. The discussion was around how we often just ghost people we no longer really feel connected to, rather than having a discussion about the friendship. The idea of friendship based on a reason, season or lifetime is an interesting perspective.

Letting go or releasing a friendship that has become too one-sided, perhaps where the person seems to suck the air from around you, and gives a little back , is not always an easy task.

The different kinds of friendships we have it’s also very interesting to me. I’m curious how you will approach the subject.

Good luck in accessing those front row seats for fashion shows that you’re hoping to attend.

Love and light 😊

Morning : ) Have a great day and I look forward to reading your piece on friendship. As an incurable people pleaser but also a less tolerant 50 something than I was when younger, I find navigating friendships harder these days. However, I think you're right, it's OK to have some shallow friendships - as we get older, I think that the deep and meaningful friendships are fewer and more intense so lightweight ones bring a different dimension to our lives and it's OK for them to just be fun. We don't need to share everything with everyone right (she says possibly oversharing here for a Monday morning ; )
