Tracy recently took my massive head to see To Kill A Mockingbird, which was wonderful and then we got to meet Matthew Modine. He was charming, as is his co-star, and Tracy’s friend, Simon Hepworth.

Here we are, Day 46 into January and still hanging on in there, well done us! How’s it treating you? Well, I hope. But you know what has really cheered me these last couple of weeks? The wonderful, thoughtful feedback from so many of you about my new podcast, Fame. Seriously, thank you! It’s taken me and producer Amanda Redman months to bring it to life, so it’s an incredible feeling to have it finally coming out and then having you listen! Amazing scenes.

And so now, here is episode 2, featuring one of Britain’s most beloved and respected actors - who also happens to be a dear mate of mine - Tracy-Ann Oberman. We became friends after chatting to each other underneath mutual friends’ Facebook posts. It was a big day the day we dared to have a real life date. We still joke about whether or not we are actual friends.

On the podcast, you will find her to be as I do in real life: charismatic, funny, smart and with a lot of wisdom to share. Among other things, she talks about what it’s like to be a household name, discovering she was a victim of phone hacking, and how her co-star’s tabloid scandal somehow ended up being a nightmare for her as well.
