Untold secrets of The Glamour Awards
I nearly threw up on Eva Longoria. I wish it had been will.i.am....
It’s 2012’s turn in this series where I look back on the Glamour Women of the Year Awards. It was unforgettable for me, but for the wrong reasons. You might not be able to detect something in these pictures that is so glaringly obvious to me: the glazed look of pain and panic etched on my face.
In many ways, it was one of the best ever years for the Glamour Awards. At that point, it was easily the most star-studded. Just off the top of my head, the roll call is pretty impressive: Lily Collins, Lea Michele, Sofia Vergara, Jessica Alba, Eva Longoria, Kelly Rowland, Donatella Versace, Viola Davis, Gemma Chan, Jeremy Piven, Naomi Watts, Tom Hiddleston, Cuba Gooding Jr.
Nothing dreadful happened. If there were any major drop-outs or celebrity dramas in the preamble, I can’t remember them. That’s probably because my dominant memory of the evening is that I was dealing with an absolutely nuclear migraine.
